The Mill worked alongside Lucky Generals and director Jono Hunter out of Mindseye on a pair of spots for smartphone manufacturer OnePlus. The follow-up to Cacti is a more carnivorous take on the phone’s stabilisation features.

Staging a OnePlus 5T smart test to gauge the video stabilization of two smart phones, the wryly comic spots sees a man dressed in meat withstand the hunger of a ferocious canine whilst filming the event.
The OnePlus 5T is seen to have better camera stability throughout.
Mill colorist James Bamford comments ‘we wanted the spot to feel different and so were tasked with creating a distinct look that was instantly recognisable. The spot has a soft contrast and pastel colour palette against which the meat really stands out.’
2D Lead Artist Dave Wishart adds, 'we provided clean-up and screen compositions. It was good to work with Jono and it's always fun to work with Lucky Generals.'
