Working alongside WCRS and Director Ben Scott of RSA Films, The Mill helped create the second installment of a pair of fun and imaginative spots for B&Q.
In the spot, viewers watch a man who appears to be a little puzzled, having no idea what to do with his garden. Suddenly a flurry of B&Q employees appear and the whole garden is quickly transformed.
The transformation is cleverly depicted through quickly moving objects popping up, from a perfectly positioned fence to a row of neatly planted flowers. All showing off B&Q’s latest range and portraying the ease at which people can create their perfect garden with B&Q’s help.
Mill 2D Lead Nina Mosand explains ‘We spent most of our time working on the fences dropping down at the beginning. This was difficult because it was shot on over 20 different plates, which meant we had to do lots of removing and stitching.
It was a really fun job to work on, and we loved working with such a passionate director like Ben. He knew exactly what he wanted however also trusted us to take the reign were appropriate’
