The spot opens with a family welcoming a foster child into their home, with their first meal being a Family Bucket. We are shown those pivotal moments in a young lad's life, that first detention, the first kiss, graduation, all the way through to him starting a family of his own. We are then brought full circle as the boy, at that same dining table, welcomes another foster child with that trusted Family Bucket.
Colourist Matt Osborne comments, 'Working with such an emotive storyteller as Ben was fantastic. Everything from idea, the actors and the set design really gave the piece authenticity.
We wanted to capture the essence of a 90's look. Great 90's commercials and films gave me a specific insight to this style. We used flatter skin tones, diffused highlights and vignettes which really helped give the look we were after.
By using a variety of film stocks along with a subtle shift in colour palette, it helped transition the piece to modern time."
