The Mill once again collaborated with the W+K Amsterdam team and director Fredrik Bond to create the next installment of the Heineken campaign, with this spot promising to be as epic as the last.
The spot follows our suave James Bond-esque protagonist as he travels across South America with the goal of reaching the World Cup final. He encounters a range of people, wowing them all on his journey and blagging his way out of tricky situations; whilst all the time maintaining his cool, finally landing back in England in time for the final.
Our team worked with Fredrik to come up with a different take on the idea of travelling across the globe. In keeping with the epic nature of the spot, a huge amount of work went into the final shot which shows a packed out football stadium.
"It was a real pleasure to work with Fredrik and the W+K team again," comments lead 2D artist Jay Bandlish."There were a few scenes that we worked on to help our man of the world look that extra bit cool. The radish sequence in the border crossing, the football sequence and a helicopter landing outside the stadium were particular areas of focus."
