The Mill team was excited to team up with BBDO and Traktor for a Gillette project and a day with Green Bay Packers star Clay Matthews. This job was a such a big VFX undertaking that our team was not allowed shoot at Lambeau Field, his home turf, and instead shot at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium - a completely different layout that also has more than 70,000 seats which are red and not the celebrated Green Bay Packers yellow and green.

The Mill artists completely replaced the stadium in CG which was enhanced in Flame with reflections, stadium lights, clouds, and rain textures that were added to every shot since some filming took place when it was pouring and some when it was not.
The crowd was accomplished with 2D plates and a massive amount of CG work. The front row of Lambeau stadium has barriers, so specific plates of the crowds were added to the front row and additional people, photographers, players and coaches were also composited. There are very extreme time ramps in this sequence to add to the quick and intense pace of the spot, so the crowd and rain had to be composited at different speeds to the players to make it feel right.Agency: BBDO NY
