Directed by Guy Aroch and Duncan Winecoff the beautifully shot film follows a limber dancer, a smooth beach runner, serene surfer and subtle yoga poses, as four women rise in the morning to start their day in different ways but all in their FP Movement clothing range.
Mill colourist Mikey Rossiter, explains: "Part of creating the look of the spot was allowing each woman to have her own story, moment and color palette while ensuring the four palettes in total, all complimented one another as the sunrise illuminates the beginning of the day."
He adds: "Free People creatives are always adventurous and bold in their vision and we have a very in tuned relationship. We pushed a natural and cinematic look, which was perfect for this spot. The final result is a simple, and a beautifully muted looking film, with a cinematic feel."
Mill Editor Ryan McKenna adds: "The footage we were given was incredible, and shot by cinematographer Stuart Winecoff. I was truly given an opportunity to construct a moving story, letting the music drive the emotion of this piece by weaving together the story of these four women. I'm so excited to share this work with Free People's devoted audience and community."
At the end of the film Free People poses the question: What moves you?
