Alongside adam&eveDDB and Director Dan Freedman out of Independent Films, The Mill's VFX team helped bring to life this comedic narrative for Samsung’s Where’s the Art?
Set to an intermittent piano and dynamic percussion, over the course of a minute we see works of art such as Paul Gauguin’s ‘The Red Dog’ and Grant Wood’s ‘American Gossip’ disappear into thin air, leaving behind only the ornate frames that once held them. As this vanishing act occurs, anxious gallery staff and shocked members of the public frantically look for the paintings, for the slightest verification of what they have just witnessed.
The paintings are restored to their frames when the TV viewer exchanges the artwork display for TV On Demand.
