'Cuatro Sueños Pequeños', presented by Um Yeah Arts, is a 21 minute visual audio experiment by Thomas Campbell. Shot entirely on 16mm film, it's a dream-like sequence that blends in and out of reality, starring Javier Mendizabal and Madars Apse on a skate adventure.
Graded by The Mill's Greg Reese, the film was shot in beautiful locations from the Canary Islands to California with an original soundtrack by the Basque supergroup, 'Chiwoks'.
"The first time I met Thomas was super cool," said Reese. "It's a bizarre ride sometimes: meeting someone down the road who you've been a fan of for a long time. At one point, I literally took a step back and thought "This is amazing. How lucky am I to be collaborating on something I would have been a fan of without participating in it?" It's a bizarre experience and one I'm incredibly grateful for.
I think the film turned out beautifully. My favorite part is that there's a book of photographs covering the shoot and travels, and my name is in there alongside these amazing people!"
Cuatro Sueños Pequeños can be purchased on DVD as part of an 84 page hard-back book.
