Mill Colourist Seamus O’Kane explains ‘Whilst retaining a feeling of total naturalness this spot exudes a sophisticated glamour that sits comfortably with each characters real life personas. Our initial grade palette matured as the delicate 2D work progressed in order that we could better achieve this. Whilst each spot retains it’s signature look, the flow of light between wide shots and the demanding close ups feels untampered and natural as intended by Jordan and Director of Photography John Mathieson.
Mill 2D Lead artist Nina Mosand states ‘Working on a project for makeup with a female director like Jordan, who knows exactly what she wants, was very refreshing, being female myself. We both had small things we wanted to improve on the ladies on screen, not that they weren't stunning already, and we didn't stop until we got all the little creases straightened. That being said, our ladies still look natural and glowing, exactly what we were after. The magic of John Mathieson’s photography meant that in terms of colour grading, only a small touch of alteration was needed to ensure a natural real feel.’
