Our CG team was stoked when presented with the brief to re-design the iconic Coors Light bullet train. It was a balancing act for talented concept artist Marc Gabbana, who needed to preserve the well known silhouette and factor in both futuristic and traditional steam train elements. 60 pages of designs later we got final sign off and the Coors Light train mach II was born.
The silver locomotive was modeled from scratch and includes an incredible amount of detail so that it stands up to the closest of shots. Particle whizz Dan Marum provided steam, snow and frost elements to the compositing crew.
We love a happy customer and Tom Cronin, Draft FCB Chicago Exec Producer, comments: 'Working with The Mill on the 2010 Coors Light work was simply a fantastic experience. Every phase of production from conception to execution to delivery was flawless. The crew working on our projects cared about them as much as the agency. It was a true partnership that garnered terrific spots'.
