The Mill was thrilled to collaborate with director Sam Sneed and creative director Alejandra Garibay for Glass Magazine's latest fashion film - inspired by the poem First Signs of Spring by Isabel Mancebo.
Working closely with Garibay, The Mill's team was excited to take on this exciting passion project, finishing 49 shots in 5 days. Beautifully shot in Bushwick, the film provides a vintage, yet cool retro vibe, enhanced with a stunning grade by Mill colourist Mikey Rossiter.
Having worked on previous projects with Garibay, the team felt they could interpret her vision fully by keeping the imagery clean and only enhancing aspects of what was already a breath-taking film. 2D Lead Artist Anne Trotman comments "This was truly a dream job. It is incredible to collaborate with clients who you love working with and let you push boundaries through open dialogue and discussion. We love and respect Alejandra and Sam's work so it was great to work on a project that pulled together both their creative talent".
The film has recently been announced as an official selection of the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival.
