The ad is a cinematic flashback to key moments of Julie’s lifetime, taking viewers on a journey from her childhood right through to some of her most esteemed moments in the spotlight.
With a subtle comedic undertone and gentle references to some of her most memorable characters, Julie implores that seeing the world clearly has enabled her to embrace her many roles on screen and off, making her the woman she is today.
2D Lead Artist Georgina Ford comments; 'Vision Express was a thoroughly enjoyable project to work on, and the whole team involved made this such a pleasure to be a part of.
Our main task was to create a seamless macro-eye transition through Julie's eye and into her ‘memories'. We used a number of macro-shots through a 3D camera projection in nuke, creating the illusion that the shot was following through the pupil into a 'dream' like world inside her eye, before arriving at her first memory.
We were able to have free-creative reign across this project, and able to really make this section look how we thought it best to represent the idea, as well as remaining appropriate to the type of advert being created.’
