An all-singing and piano playing puppet is the star of this ad, as he serenades viewers with a comical song that depicts the often bizarre things of day-to-day life that become connected via the internet.
The main message of this ad is to encourage viewers to acknowledge the realistic necessity of some of the connective devices they own or might be encouraged to buy, visually represented by the gradual tangling of strings and chaos in this fast-moving spot.
Mill Colourist James Bamford Explains; 'Our aim was to create quite a subtle grade, keeping all the colors in a pastel hue and allowing the visual focus to remain on the busy motions of this fun spot.
We were keen to keep enhance the protagonist puppet's expression, and maintain his hair tone, ensuring that the grade was seamless across each new environment.
The dynamic grade follows the fluid nature of the spot, as it moves from one scene to the other, paying particular attention to the popping of certain color elements to help lead the viewers eye throughout the fast-paced ad.
This was a fun and unusual ad to work across.’
