The Mill collaborated with Wieden+Kennedy (Portland) and Director Tim Godsall of Anonymous Content to deliver Nike ‘Debate This’. The powerful spot starring Kevin Durant aired immediately after the Golden State Warriors’ victory in the 2017 NBA Finals.
The piece caricatures the back-and-forth judgments of Durant’s ability amongst sports commentators as game footage plays on massive screens overhead. To create the compelling visuals, The Mill’s 2D team composited the game tape onto the larger-than-life screens. The overall look was also complemented with a colour grade by The Mill’s Adam Scott.
