Working alongside AMV, and Director Jake Szymanski out of Caviar, The Mill helped to create this comedic spot for the latest BT Infinity campaign, starring actor Ryan Reynolds.
The short follows Reynolds as he welcomes viewers to his English manor house, explaining the wonder of its size but the dilemma of needing an internet connection that will reach all corners of the vast estate.
He goes on to hilariously exemplify his solution by showing how his trust-worthy and efficient BT Infinity connection allows him to stay online anywhere on the grounds. This includes numerous activities such as wandering around his own personal maze and riding horseback through his living room, all whilst his devices remain successfully connected.
2D Lead Artist Dan Adams explains; ‘It was great teaming up with Director Jake Szymanski again, the previous spots have all had a similar comedic feel and have been great to work on.
For this latest addition we had to do two shoots; one on location here in the UK and one with Reynolds in the US. We seamlessly composited the shots taken from each location to ensure there was a sense of continuity throughout. We also matte painted much of the manor house to create a more traditional English aesthetic.
We then helped create the maze in the front of the house and had some fun with the bird at the end attacking Ryan Reynolds, to make it look its most authentic.'
