The satirical ad, which plays out with a juxtaposed American voice over, depicts a pair of British van drivers, John and Jim, as they head toward a tunnel on a narrow country road. John, the younger of the pair warns that their large vehicle may not be able to fit but Jim being the older one and 'always right' goes ahead any way.
The result sees the van crash into the top of the tunnel, leaving it near decapitated. The pair are then seen enjoying a KFC Zinger Stacker burger, which is something they can both agree is 'Finger Lickin good', bringing a sense of amusement to what in reality would be a pretty serious accident.
Mill 2D Lead Artist Carl Norton explains, 'We aimed to find a balance in the height of the bridge that would allow for the viewer to question the possibility of avoiding the inevitable. With another great comic voiceover by Jeff Bridges, the spot turned out to be a well pulled off pastiche.'
Mill Colourist James Bamford graded the piece to create a cinematic feel, adding to the overall sense of parody in the spot.
