The video kicks off with a contagious beat, accompanied by the establishing shot of a man walking down the road, bouncing loosely at the hip. The camera follows him through a multitude of spaces, each one featuring a dramatically different look through the use of strong lighting and expressive, embellished colour.
Gregory’s grade maintains naturalistic appearances throughout while adding slight tints to convey certain moods for each shot. He worked with Director of Photography Michael Ragen to achieve the final look.
Gregory says, “Michael was very clear with his vision for the feel of the video. His use of lighting was intentional for each shot, which significantly helped with my role of enhancing the imagery."
‘Feel It Still’draws attention to current humanitarian issues, as it strikes a note with the lyrics, “A rebel just for kicks now...We could fight for war, we can fight for peace.”
Gregory comments, “This music video stands out for me. I was passionate about being a part of a project that serves as both entertainment and as a platform to raise awareness of socio-political issues.”
