The Mill collaborated with O Positive Director David Shane along with Wieden+Kennedy NY, to create this topical and wonderfully written long-form ad for The Atlantic Magazine. In this thought provoking spot, actor Michael K. Williams debates himself on the subject of typecasts. The short film examines Williams as four different versions of himself and whether he can escape being from being a typecast.
The final film was tied together with a crisp yet moody grade by Mill colourist Josh Bohoskey. Bohoskey comments, "I worked with director David Shane, DP Maryse Alberti and the agency to create a filmic look that lives in the warmish green world. We shaped it quite a bit with vignettes in order to draw your eye to Michael K Williams characters in a more intimate way."
