Mill+ director Aidan Gibbons worked with Baldwin& on Burt’s Bees’ new lipstick line which follows an adventure in a dewy garden. The ad features a lipstick pack playfully moving through a lush environment of leaves covered with water droplets, which was generated by a team of VFX in CG, who worked to add in misty love hearts and dewy moisture to each shot.
The 3D water simulations and animated greenery were then combined with high frame rate footage seamlessly in 2D, to create a fun-filled and light hearted spot.
