Kano gathered his family and friends on the grounds of his old primary school for a Sunday BBQ with bouncy castles, games and ice cream for the kids, rum punch and a major sound system for the adults.
The lyrics of the song, reflected in the content of the promo, sees the rap artist reminiscing on good times in the past, going back to his roots enjoying spending time with family and friends. The shots, some of which taken on a DV Handycam, offer a strong sense of nostalgia and Summer fun.
Mill Colourist Oisin O’Driscoll explains, "Kano is a fan of a low-fi look so we didn't want to push the grade too far especially on the DV Handycam material, as such, we just gave this a little balance and added some chromatic aberration to make it stand out a little bit further.
The main body of the grade we wanted to keep quite similar, the brief was to make everything as nice and sunny as possible without pushing the grade too far. I keyed the sky every now and again to brighten up the slightly overcast day.”
