Focusing on the second half of the duo, singer Alley Deheza, the film switches between scenes of Alley chasing after herself, losing herself to dance, and then eerily, being pulled apart and reassembled. All part of the healing process.
Mill 2D Artist Jonny Freeman explained, "To make the story as powerful as possible it was key that we grounded Daniel’s sci-fi vision in a realistic looking world. By maintaining subtleties such as shadows and skin tones we ensured a natural look and feel that would not lead the audience astray, especially during the human body dismantling and reassembling sections. We went for a subtle touch in this footage, drawing on the clean, sterile and detached vibe executed so well in the rest of the video."
Graded by The Mill's Mikey Pehanich, Mikey said, "In the chase scenes, we emphasized the juxtaposition between the sodium vapor street lights and cool fluorescent lights. Then, in the dance studio shots we used a softer contrast and accentuated the cyan and magenta tones. These complimented each other really nicely. Finally, in the surgery sequences, Daniel and I went with more neutral tones, cooling off the mids and using Alley's skin tone for a nice balance of warmth across all the images."
