The stadium scene was shot while the stadium was empty and dark. The 3D team then built an identical CG stadium, and filled it with the cheering crowd. Lights, sparks and fireworks were added by the 2D team to light up the night.
Mid-spot, a large, majestic earth comes into view. This was was created entirely from scratch by the 3D team from real satellite footage, projected onto the surface of the CG earth.
Emotions run deep when it comes to football, and this spot highlights how the world unites in its love of the World Cup. May the best team win.
