The ad plays on the idea that there is simply no better deal than the latest one on offer from Pizza Hut, presenting the audience with a series of hyperbolic comparisons, making the deal appear as rare as getting struck by a lightening bolt or as exciting as the discovery of magnetism.
Lead 2D artist, Joseph Tang explains how the team, “seamlessly pulled together a combination of separate plates adding a variety of 2D passes to add extra elements to the existing shots, such as the metal cutlery on to the man's face."
