The Mill worked with Joint and Director Kevin Thomas out of Thomas Thomas to create this heartwarming advert for Amazon Prime, featuring an adorable Shetland pony.
The spot tugs at the heartstrings as it follows an adorably tiny horse trying, and failing, to make friends with the other horses in its field – a group of glossy black stallions. His owner notices that he is lonely and turns to Amazon Prime for a quick solution – a dog-flap that the pony is small enough to fit through and take refuge in his owner’s living room. The advert suggests that, with next day delivery Amazon Prime offers “millions of ways to save the day.”
2D Lead Artist Chris Scott describes working on the spot, "I've never met such a friendly horse, he really was tiny! The job involved some 2D trickery: plating up horses and deleting the wranglers. Kevin did an amazing job to capture a heartfelt film in a single day of shooting!"
