His intense performance is interrupted when a member of crew wanders on set, and the BT staff use the opportunity to add “subtle” BT branding and ask their star to “lighten up.” The ‘Platoon’ actor’s attempts to do so leave a little to be desired…
2D Lead Artist Pete Rypstra describes The Mill’s role on this project, “We worked with Rich and Gary from AMV to build the CG satellite seen in outer space at the beginning of the spot, and the view from the deck back to Earth, where a network of lights illustrates the connectivity that BT are advertising. The team developed the plasma and lightning effect inside the glass orbs, which we comped the 4G and Wifi logos into, which were subsequently composited in flame.”
