The Super Bowl is one of the most watched US TV events each year and here at The Mill we appreciate how crucial a date it is in the advertising calendar. This year was extra special for wireless company Boost who decided to advertise during the game for the first time. LA agency 180 got together with directors Tim & Eric of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim fame to make ‘Boost Mobile Shuffle’ which is a parody of the 1985 Super Bowl Shuffle.
A number of veteran Chicago Bears players, who won the Super Bowl that year, make an appearance including Jim McMahon, Mike Singletary, Richard Dent and Maury Buford. There's even a special appearance by legendary coach Mike Ditka.
Our team of artists helped out by ensuring the over all feel of the spot matched the 25 year old original. A filter was applied to give a dated 'video' feel and set clean up work polished up the final result.
