Created by Mill+ Director Aidan Gibbons working alongside Imagination, this brand film combines motion graphics featured in a series of different spots for Jaguar Land Rover.
Mill+ was required to showcase Jaguar Land Rover’s latest developments in Advanced Sensor Technologies, which gives cars almost anthropomorphic qualities: using lasers and radars that can sense other vehicles and pedestrians; monitor blind spots and read the road as well as cameras that “see like human eyes.”
Aidan explains that, “The main task was to come up with unique ways of visualising this amazing technology which is being researched by Jaguar Land Rover. This technology cannot be seen by the naked eye, so it was a really nice creative challenge for us to visualise each individual sensor. We looked to existing technology as a starting point by researching lidar, radar and camera data. We then took this and advanced the look and feel of these into something much more interesting and engaging to look at.”
