The ad which uses a remastered version of the song A Rather Blustery Day, written for the 1968 Disney featurette WinnieThe Pooh And The Blustery Day; sees fresh produce being harvested and prepared in anticipation for the coming winter months, hoping to make it the 'The Warmest of Winters.’
Seaumus O'Keane comments, “The important reality to convey in the grade was the dull, cold, grey monotony of the British autumn as opposed to the golden glory of the cinematic ideal of the New England fall. However, within this we sought to find a slightly ethereal beauty to compliment both the compositions and framing, given by the observed direction from Simon and the naturally derived lighting of DOP Martin Hill.
It was also important to keep the same sensibility for the interior palette, so the natural sense of warmth, within the home, compliments the welcoming sense of good food, well cooked and keenly enjoyed. To me, the finished spot has a pleasing sense of beauty, deriving from it’s photography, rather than manipulated from it, making it more engaging on a more personal level."
