Highlighting the speed of Amazon Prime, the series of idents directed by Ben Whitehouse out of Agile Films are based on hit period UK drama Downton Abbey.
They give a peek into just how useful Amazon’s prime service can be in moments of need on-set. The idents, which were created by Joint London in-line with the launch of Downton’s latest series, were brought to life by Mill London's Head of Colour Seamus O’Kane in the grade, as well as being polished by the 2D team.
Seamus comments, "These nicely observed spots manage to present both a problem and a solution within a very short timescale and it was important that the colour palette managed to be both sympathetic to the beautiful wardrobe and sets, but did not hinder the viewer in grasping the Amazon Prime concept.
The process was to pare back our initial grade to better match the unobtrusive style of the direction and editing and still create an image that has long term viewing satisfaction and enhances the subtle lighting design."
