The charming ad depicts scenarios of modern living which are aided by the ‘Life Ready’ car, from bike ride rescues to late night pit stops. The spot, graded by Mill colourist Matt Osborne, was tied together and polished by the 2D and matte painting teams, before the final look was set by Matt in the grade.
Matt comments, "There were some lovely visuals to work with on this spot. Most of it was shot on old anamorphic lenses which gave the piece a texture and character. We wanted to find a colour palate that looked appealing and also helped the car come to life. So in each scene we used the car a the main 'master' colour and graded the surrounding colours accordingly so give the commercial maximum impact."
