The Mill teamed up with DAVID Agency and Primo’s Nicolas Perez Velga to advertise Unilever’s commitment to saving the rainforest.
The spot sees a tree uproot from its rainforest home to come to the big city, highlighting the danger the world’s plant life is now facing from deforestation.
The Mill’s team of VFX artists aided in bringing the ad to life by adding in CG birds and working to enhance shots of the tree suit, which was created by Millennium FX.
Mill colourist Mick Vincent then worked to augment the beauty of this soul-stirring commercial in the grade. He comments, “This commercial has a great message that really makes you think. The tree costume was really well made, I just had to ensure that we controlled the texture through each shot. This was also the first time I've graded something shot on the ARRI Alexa Mini and I am really impressed.”
