The Mill joined forces with Saatchi & Saatchi for ‘Lionesses’ part of the ‘Don’t Fight Your Instincts’ campaign. Demonstrating that even apex predators worry about portion control and have to restrain from indulging in the sweetest things in life.
Led by Mill+ Director Steve Beck, the Mill+ team created this fully CG desert scene, along with two lionesses trying to fight their hunger instincts. The team traveled to South Africa to get acquainted with the animals and their environment. Watching animals in their own habitat granted them the ability to recreate their mannerism, allowing the spot to be feel more realistic.
The striking part of this campaign is how relatable the characters are with their overblown personalities, which makes even more entertaining.
