Skip's new feel good campaign created by BBH will add a spring to your step, with an online interactive music video and TV ad featuring a group of women dancing to Janelle Monáe's Tightrope. Their clothes change throughout the ad without interruption of the dance sequence, showcasing how to love your garments with Skip washing detergent.
Lead 2D artist Pete Hodsman comments, "The post required on skip was fairly technical. We had to manage very large amounts of data, 50 times more than your usual commercial. The footage required some tracking and stablization to get the best from the shots and make lineup achieveable. The dancers did an incredible job hitting their marks, but there were a huge amount on the floor to cleanup, alongside some rigremoval. The final shot was comprised of 10 plates, with a huge amount of matting and comp work required to get all 50 dancers on screen."
