Prominent jewelry designer David Yurman worked with The Mill to create the debut film of the 'Albion' jewelry line refresh.
Campaign:
Albion Watch and Ring
Playing in David Yurman stores and on the New York Times website, sketches pulled from David's notebooks were animated and mixed with the new rings and watch. The contemporary designs were based on the signature Albion, which has been part of the David Yurman line for twenty years.
Sketches were animated to seem as if David were drawing them before the viewers eyes. The aim was to highlight the checkerboard faceting and classic lines, to create a greater play of color and light of the jewelry and stones.
Mill colorist Aline Sinquin created a lush monochromatic backdrop to the jewel tone colors for an elegant final look.
