The 'No Bollocks' campaign is a series of six spots that feature still photos, rather than moving images, with voiceover. These simple, straight shooting spots poke fun at fallacious beer ads speaking the truth through comedic one-liners.
Smoke op, Jeff Robins said, "The scripts are very leftfield. Although they are made of stills, every shot has been worked on. There was a lot of clean up and tweaking to frame things nicely."
The Mill's colour team gave each of the shots a different look or feel, as if they were all taken by different photographers at different times. Robins said: "Some shots gave a lo-fi look as if shot using an old Lomo camera. All the product shots have been enhanced, such as the beer; making it the right color of gold with a nice amount of froth and lacing."
The team at Droga5 was fantastic and had extremely clear Art Direction. Producer Orlaith Finucane commented: "We absolutely loved working on these, and think they are so fun! It doesn't matter how many times we watch them, we giggle every time!"
