Kwok comments, "It was a great opportunity to be playful with the spots, trying to engage with the audience and with the different styles of animation and aesthetics."
Luke Colson, Executive producer said about getting involved with the project, "There are an infinite number of reasons why we teamed up with Leo Burnett NY to work on these films. Where to start!? The obvious reason is the cause, about 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations. That is one person every three and a half seconds and even more saddening, it is children who die most often. It's a frightening and upsetting statistic and people need to be made aware. It feels redundant to even speak about any other reasons for why we got involved, but we we're given free creative licence and loved the simplicity of the films, it meant we could really express ourselves and as a result became a very personal project for the team."
