Campaign:
FIFA World Cup 2014
The team built an entirely CG stadium of cheering fans, featuring our hero - the Golf GTI - as it dribbles the ball straight into the net.
The Mill customized the new GTI model with 32 country-specific paint designs and developed three spots per team, showcasing different camera moves, celebrations and goals by the GTI. Each celebration is tweeted after every goal with the hashtag #gooolf as part of their World Cup campaign, all leading up to the final tweet in the final game to crown the winners: Germany, the champions who beat Argentina in a tense 1 - 0 battle for the cup.
Proctor commented: "It was really cool being a part of the 2014 World Cup and the campaign leading up to the final game. And from a conceptual and technical point of view, a really interesting challenge - making it both realistic and recognisable as a celebration."
