'West of Expected' is a quirky campaign that sends up the snobby cocktail culture and believes that everything can be made better with a little fresh thinking. In this spot, the Skyy scientist honors the importance of making happy hour - work excuses encouraged.
2D lead artist Gareth Parr of The Mill led his team in polishing the look of the bottle, removing rigs, increasing the vibrancy of the balloons and compositing the cosmos footage. Parr comments: "In addition to adding the dome to achieve the planetarium look, we made the people in black suits blend more into the dark background and touched up the props, giving everything a more glossy look. Venables Bell & Partners projects are always good fun."
