Since 1862, Bacardi has been making parties go with a swing. Without missing a beat, The Mill New York, Y&R New York and Anonymous teamed up to create a non-stop party back through the ages. 'Decades' the ad is to air on television and in movie theatres in the US. It is also to air in UK and Spanish versions.

Director Armando Bo, who thrives on doing the impossible, warps time to show us that the best mojitos are always made the same way. In a non-stop dance-party sequence a modern-day sophisticate time-travels back across the dance floors of 1980s electro-disco, sixties rock 'n' roll, fifties jive, thirties swing, twenties flappers, Edwardian minuets, to finally enter a saloon bar in 1862 and order an original Bacardi mojito.
Thanks to the subtlety of The Mill's post-production blending, the contemporary settings, fashions, characteristics, and dance traditions all change without a join to be seen. A minute of real time becomes a series of seamless transitions through almost 150 years of Bacardi's long history.
