The Mill team focused on integrating the phone screen comps into the story, which involved small tweaks to get the animations and user interfaces right. Rig removal was done for the girl in the tree as well as tree sculpting. CG phone animations appear over the titles; the CG inserts were tracked in Smoke, and the phone re-lit in 2D to yield a rich look, inspired by night backdrops. And perhaps the piéce de résistance is the 'Go Crazy On Android' tag, inspired by Horror-film titles. McEntee worked with the agency creatives and Kuntz to find the right balance between that stylized look and the brand.
