The Mill New York worked on both spots with Swedish collective, ACNE, who have directed some of the industry's whackiest brand representations. This is not the first success the Mill NY has had with Vault. In 2006, they worked on other spots when Coca-Cola launched the drink with a campaign that aired during Super Bowl XL.

In 'Paintball', the last man chosen turns the tables on his friends after swigging down some Vault. For every scene, Lead Flame artist Westley Sarokin had to change all the white paintballs, splatters and squib markings to Vault's signature neon green, and also added extra splashes to faces, clothes and the surroundings. Also, to accentuate the OTT nature of the man, Westley combined hi-res stills of a stuffed squirrel with animated footage, then added shake and blurry frame movements to emphasise the frenetically wild moment.
