Imagine being told we could throw Jonathan Ross 30 feet through the air from a giant Jack-in-the-box without wires onto a hard wooden floor? Sadly we weren't allowed to, but of course that's what it needed to look like!

Due to the nature of the stunt, a lookalike stuntman suspended on wires was used instead, leaving us with the challenging task of shooting Jonathan Ross in an identical series of positions, and morphing and comping the two shoot days together. Late in the day, an even bigger curve ball was thrown as we were told that Jonathan Ross was only available, before the stuntman shoot! We took take, after take, after take of each, in the hope that eventually we could get a total match.
Luke Colson, our Head of Mill Studio, remarked "after five days of tireless Flame and Nuke work, we think we've created something really compelling and believable!"
The British Comedy Awards live show takes place Sunday 11th December on Channel 4.
