The spot, entitled 'Parking Ticket' sees fake traffic wardens posting parking tickets on the cars of unsuspecting motorists. As a nice surprise the parking ticket envelopes actually contained cash with the motorist's reactions captured by film crews in various cities across the country.
Chris Batten, Producer at The Mill explains: "As with our previous T-Mobile projects one of the toughest elements is how we manage such a huge amount of footage.
"'Parking Ticket' had its own set of unique challenges as we had four camera crews shooting on the same day all over Britain. We then had only three days to process the data, edit it, grade it and get it on air!
"Our Data-Lab team lead by Miles Stormer and Tom Emptage meticulously planned the data workflow and luckily we were working with Saatchi & Saatchi, Smugger with previous T-Mobile collaborators Marshall Street editors."
"During the early hours as the edits arrived our dedicated Flame team led by James Pratt worked around the clock. Once they were complete our Aubrey Woodiwiss, guided by Director Jamie Rafn. graded and mastered the film before finally being played out with only minutes to spare..."
We think 'Parking Ticket' aptly demonstrates the engaging and unique creative trademark of the T-Mobile campaigns so have a look at the two-minute film which is part of a print and digital campaign. The TVC went live Friday 16 September, 9pm on Channel 5.
