The space is increasingly enlivened by light, trixels and the athlete's startling skill, until he himself shatters into a shower of trixels that form into an invitation to 'Evolve at Foot Locker'.
Mill animator Ross Urien says, 'Walter Campbell is a very creative and inspiring director. Working with him is always a collaboration. I had the freedom to develop several visual ideas, design my own graphic elements and camera moves, and to explore the colour field and its look. He was very receptive to me contributing as an artist."
At The Mill Robert Holmes created the urban space in 3D and animated the trixel wave sequences, which needed in excess of 75,000 3D elements. Once the animation was rendered from XSI and Maya, Mill Flame artist Richard Roberts composited the footage with live action of the gymnast.
