Actor Nick Offerman lends his manly persona to NASCAR and NBC Sports in his spoken word anthem to America, created by Hungryman director Dave Laden and The Mill, which aired during Super Bowl XLIX.

Super Bowl 2015
Nick brings his A-game with his amusingly poetic lines and dry sense of humor. America has gotten soft and it's up to NASCAR to change that. To get the message across, Nick is placed in every scene as a different character.
The shoot was originally planned on a NASCAR racetrack, but impending bad weather caused the team to cancel the plan and think outside the box. Instead, they developed a new way to stay true to the script.
NASCAR worked with Mill artists to source and select racing footage in the NASCAR archives that lined up with the scenes shot with Nick. Cloudless blue skies, real NASCAR crowds combined with CG crowds and CG windshields were added. The 2D artists paid close attention to the lighting effects, to make sure each scene looked brightly sunlit.
How's that for a gut check? Go get 'em, America!
