The aim was to show the coming together of two very different cultures, reflecting the contrast in styles of music used in the song. "The song is made up of two really contrasting styles: half of it has super-heavy, Led Zep-esque guitar riffs and the other half is really stripped back with these orchestral breakdowns," Terry explains.
The promo was then graded in London. "We decided a blended colour palette worked well for the individual scenes," said Mill Colourist Aubrey Woodiwiss. "No colours in the scenes pop out and with a softness in the contrast it gave it a slight dreamy feel, like moving it away from vivid reality. It was also necessary to move the different camera formats to the same place so it felt seamless."
