Lead singer Alfie Smith says, "the song is about a bad guy looking for love in all the wrong places. He finally meets his match and it changes him forever." The video sees a young couple in the early throws of love running around the streets of London, and takes a dark twist towards the end.
Lewis comments, "Working with the Chris and DOP Stefan Yap was an absolute pleasure. The story already had a great narrative and I just wanted to ad a subtle grade to bring out the different moods at the right moments. We decided to keep the opening black and white, as it was really a prologue to the main story. It matches the slower pace of the narrative and gives the track a bit of a punch as it kicks off into colour. I kept the colours quite neutral as I thought they complimented the environments of London (where the film is based). For the final scenes, I took it to a darker, more serious place, which helps enhance the sinister feeling towards the end."
The promo also features brief cameo appearances from band members Alfie Smith and Jimmy Casson - who you may also recognise from DJ-ing pool-side at the Cannes Mill Villa party.
