Last night The Mill’s London studio once again hosted the unveiling of this year’s UK MVA nominations, celebrating creative and technical excellence in music video making from across the globe.

This year saw more than 1200 entries from 25 different territories submitted for judging. Over 350 jury members from a range of disciplines were invited to vote on the work before the top-voted entries were then viewed by 80 key industry professionals in a second round of judging.

The Mill are proud to be supporting the show for the second year, demonstrating our shared commitment to rewarding creativity and directing talent.

We are also pleased to announce that Mill Colourist Greg Reese, out of our LA office has been nominated in the Best Colour Grade category for Vince Staples ‘Lift Me Up’.

Chemical Brothers ‘Wide Open’ has been nominated for both Best Animation in a Video and Best Visual Effects in a Video with Reeps One ‘Does Not Exist’ also getting nominated in the Best Interactive Video category.

It really has been an outstanding year for the craft of music related film making so we look forward to a standout show on October 20th at the Camden Roundhouse

A huge congratulations to all the shortlisted entrants – check out who made the list here.
