The Mill celebrated being honoured with three Film Craft Lions at Cannes this year.
Audi 'Birth', directed by Mill+'s Andrew Proctor, took the Gold in Animation. Led by Mill 3D Lead Artist Michael Chapman, the striking spot was entirely crafted in CG by The Mill's VFX team. Working with BBH and Creative Consultant Rupert Sanders, the team worked to push boundaries across every aspect of the film.
Stephen Venning, Executive Director Mill+, comments, “Birth is a project that perfectly paired The Mill's expertise in CGI with our Mill+ team's ability to create a really strong narrative. From VFX concept design to the final 100% photo-real result, it was an amazing project to work on with the team at BBH and Rupert. I love the film's brave, almost dark, concept and to see the whole team's dedication and passion rewarded with a Gold Lion is incredible! Thank you Audi for believing in our vision!"
