The Mill London took part in this year’s VFX Festival, a three-day smorgasbord of talks, workshops and panels dissecting the most dynamic and enterprising films, games, ads and animations of the past year.

3D Artist Clement Granjon presented on Heathrow’s ‘It’s a Wonderful Flight’, exploring the character development and costume choices that created an iconic bear family and charmed their way into people’s hearts.

Lead CG Artist Phil Maddock discussed the making of John Lewis’ ‘Moz The Monster’, providing insight into how Moz transformed from an idea into a lovable reality.

Taking place under the roof of Shoreditch’s Rich Mix, the festival was also an opportunity for The Mill to engage with the next generation of VFX artists and fellow industry professionals. Head of Talent Garreth Gaydon participated on the industry careers panel, and we had a display within the recruitment area to further exhibit the exciting work we do here at The Mill.
